Need to talk

As student pastors, we are available for personal conversations or an informal chat.

Everyone is welcome regardless of nationality or religious affiliation. You therefore do not need to be a member of the People’s Church or another religious denomination.

We offer a confidential space where you have the opportunity to discuss your thoughts with an outsider.

It can be about topics such as:

Doubt and uncertainty
Loneliness
Study crises
Stress
The feeling of not being good enough
Sadness
Problems in relation to relationships, family and friends
Grief and loss…
and everything else that goes on in your life.

You decide what you want to talk about. No subject is too big or too small.

An interview lasts approximately one hour and takes place at the educational institution where you are studying and where the student chaplain has his office, or possibly at the student chaplain’s office in the church. You have the option of coming several times.

We are subject to absolute confidentiality and do not keep any records.

There is usually only a short waiting time. All calls are free.

The interviews take place either at SDU or UCL, depending on where you study, but if you are not present on the course or if you live far away, it is also possible to make an appointment for an interview either on Zoom or in the phone.

Call us or write an email and we will make an agreement about when we can talk together.
